 - Valley with a long history -

Krimml Achen Valley

There are alpine pastures in the Krimmler Achen Valley, a high valley of the Hohe Tauern National Parc, since the Middle Ages. Cattle, sheep, horses and goats are put out to pasture. So it´s no surprise, that Krimml Achen Valley is home to farmers that make cheese, butter and milk. There is no better way to celebrate this culinary goodness than hiking through the valley and seeing where it grows.
